CPC vs CPM

On ONE by AOL: Mobile Self Serve, you have the option to run two types of campaigns: CPC or CPM. Depending on your campaign goals, you may want to choose one type over another.

  • CPC - Want more clicks? Choose CPC to only pay each time a user clicks your ad. CPC pricing is generally used for performance campaigns when a client is looking for specific user activity and conversions.
  • CPM - Want more exposure? Choose CPM to pay a set price per every 1,000 impressions, or every 1,000 times an ad is presented for a user on an app or site. CPM pricing is generally used for brand exposure.

The minimum bid prices for campaigns and pricing types is $0.01.
